Scodro played his first round at Blue Mound Golf & Country Club after registering a 67 (-3), followed by a second-round count of 72 (E) at Erin Hills.
Scodro is first Irish golfer to make the cut at the U.S. Amateur since Carl Santos-Ocampo did so at Pinehurst in 2008. Ocampo lost to Duke's Jeff Edelman in the first round of that tournament.
