The Irish will look to build upon its momentum in its second fall tournament, The Shoal Creek Invitational, starting Monday, Sept. 25.

The Shoal Creek Invitational consists of three rounds, with the opening two rounds taking place on Monday - first round set to begin at 9:30 a.m. ET with the second round following their 12:30 p.m. lunch. Tuesday's final round will commence at 8:30 a.m.

No. 8 Wake Forest, No. 9 Notre Dame, No. 46 North Florida, Chattanooga, Georgia Southern, Kennesaw State, Liberty, Memphis, Ole Miss, South Alabama, Troy and UAB.

In the first tournament of the season, Notre Dame improved over each round to finish in fourth place at the Badger Invitational. The Irish fired off a 274 (-10) in the final round, marking the fourth lowest team total in program history. In addition, Notre Dame's 14-under par tied for the second best 54-hole team score in school history.

Ben Albin, Davis Chatfield, Kevin Conners, Miguel Delgado and Hunter Ostrom will represent the Irish at Shoal Creek.

Albin is coming off of a third-place performance at the Badger Invitational where the junior shot a 207 (-9), including an impressive final round of 66 (-6). Chatfield and Delgado were also on last tournament's team, finishing second and third among Irish golfers, respectively. Chatfield shot a 215 (-1), which included a 67 in the second round, while Delgado followed right behind with a 216 (E).

Conners and Ostrom will see their first action on the team after playing individually at the Badger Invitational - Conners shot a 224 while Ostrom notched a 220.

"Coach really taught us to keep our emotions to ourselves and to keep grinding out everything, regardless of whether your score is going to count or not," Delgado said. "It's a lot of the culture we have built and trying to be better every single day.

"We have a couple new guys that weren't in the lineup this week. I want to be the best teammate I can be and get everyone ready to play and feeling confident."

"I think we played really well (at the Badger Invitational)," Chatfield said. "Every guy just stuck to his game plan and Coach Handrigan was out there pushing us harder and harder every day."
