    AS A SOPHOMORE: Played 12 of team's 39 games, usually in a checking role ... had no points, but did pick up one penalty for two minutes ... recorded five shots on goal, including a pair of career-best two-shot games versus Miami (2/6/04) and Western Michigan (12/6/03) ... was -2 on the year.

    AS A FRESHMAN: Played 15 of Notre Dame's 40 games in his rookie season ... mostly saw duty on the Irish checking line ... recorded one assist while taking seven shots on goal ... was +1 for the season with three penalties for six minutes ... played in his first collegiate game on Oct. 26 at home versus Ferris State ... saw limited action throughout the season ... recorded first collegiate point in 3-3 tie versus Michigan State on Jan. 25 ... joined high-energy freshman line with Walsh and Wallace to get game-tying goal versus Spartans ... forced a turnover with intense forechecking in the right wing corner and made pass to Wallace who scored on a wrist shot with 3:47 left to give Irish crucial tie ... played in just two more games the remainder of the season.
