PJHL ... racked up 38 goals and 29 assists for 67 points in helping Ajax to first place in the league’s Southern Division ... also had 126 minutes in penalties ... added three goals and three assists in four tournament games and four goals and two assists for six points in four playoff games ... prior to playing for Ajax spent the 1999-2000 season with the Wexford Raiders Midget team where he had 40 goals and 38 assists for 78 points in 56 games ... served as an alternate captain at Wexford ... won pair of first star awards at the Big Nickel Tournament in Sudbury, Ont. ... was recipient of the 2000 Wexford Raiders’ President’s Award - the Donald Linthwaite Memorial Raider Award ... attended the Fort McMurray Oil Barons (AJHL) camp in late August of 2000 and was placed on the team’s protected list at 16, but returned to Ontario ... attended Cardinal Carter Catholic High School in Aurora, Ontario and graduated in June, 2001 ... ran cross country at Cardinal Carter where his teams won regional championships his freshman and junior years ... also played lacrosse where he was a member of two all-Ontario Championship teams ... reached the rank of sergeant in the 94 Newmarket Air Cadet Squadron ... very involved in youth hockey programs and community service work ... full name is Alexander Lawrence Lalonde ... son of Dennis and Sandra Lalonde ... born June 21, 1983, in Oshawa, Ontario ... enrolled in First Year of Studies.
