AS A JUNIOR:
Returned to Irish defense as most experienced player... started all 14 games in 2000...named to the Great Western Lacrosse League all-conference team... tallied final Irish goal, the first of his career, in a 10-7 loss to Pennsylvania in second game...also scored against Villanova and again versus Loyola in the NCAA tournament first-round win...collected a career-high six ground balls in both the Air Force and Villanova contests...also had five ground balls against Loyola and Ohio State.
AS A SOPHOMORE:
Started seven of the 14 games he played, including NCAA tournament game against Georgetown in 1999...fourth on the team with 37 ground balls ...earned first career start in the second game of the season versus Denver ...collected five ground balls against Army and Massachusetts...also had four ground balls in the Butler and Harvard games. AS A FRESHMAN: Played in six games during his rookie season in ?98...one of five freshmen to see action in the season opener against Penn State.

One of two players from Wilton High School on the Irish roster...hails from same high school team as current Notre Dame player Mike Pfeffer and ?00 graduate Kevin Higgins...two-sport athlete who earned letters in lacrosse and basketball ...earned all-conference and all-city honors in lacrosse during his final scholastic season at defense... helped team to national ranking in ?96 as his squad claimed both conference and regional championships ...played in Connecticut All-Star Game...had a 3.5 grade-point average during the ?98 fall semester and was named to the Dean?s List...born Jan. 16, 1979...member of Notre Dame?s Academic Honors Program...Dean?s List student, who has an overall 3.439 GPA...enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business as an accounting major.
