Along with Kevin Higgins, Kirk Howell and Steve Fiamingo will serve as one of four captains this season...strong backup goalie who is one of the team's hardest working players...an extremely tough goalkeeper to score on because he is able to time his stops extremely well...tremendous team leader. AS A JUNIOR: Played in three games and totaled 16:17 in '99...allowed four goals and made five saves for a .556 save percentage. AS A SOPHOMORE: Did not see action in any game during the 1998 campaign. AS A FRESHMAN: Played in only one game during the 1997 season as he played final 6:14 of the Ohio State game...came up with one ground ball in the contest. PREP AND PERSONAL: Served as team captain at Kellenberg Memorial in his senior season...earned MVP honors in his junior season...two-time letterwinner...garnered all-conference honors twice...holds school career saves record with 294...two-time recipient of Kellenberg Memorial Student-Athlete award...selected as an alternate for the North-South All-Star Game...member of National Honor Society...born July 6, 1978...enrolled in the College of Business Administration as a finance major.
