AS A FRESHMAN: Saw action in two games during the 1997 campaign... played in his first collegiate game against Air Force and also came off the bench against Ohio State...had one ground ball versus the Buckeyes.
PREP AND PERSONAL: Three-sport athlete at Moeller...earned letters in lacrosse, football and hockey...served as captain of both the lacrosse and football teams in his senior season...helped Moeller lacrosse to state championship in his freshman year as squad also captured conference title and was nationally ranked...led team to four straight regional titles...three-time all-conference selection...garnered all-state honors as a junior and senior...also selected to the Ohio High School All-America team...chosen MVP of both the lacrosse and football teams as a senior...earned all-conference honors in football...played in the Ohio All-Star Lacrosse Game ...brother Joe played lacrosse at Quinnipiac...has been named to the Dean's List all five semesters he has been at Notre Dame...carries an overall 3.611 grade point average (the highest on the team) and has been on the Dean's List all seven semesters...born Aug. 11, 1977...enrolled as an accounting major in the College of Business.
