    3/6 Men's Lacrosse vs. Drexel

    The Men's Lacrosse team beat Drexel on the Loftus Field on March 6th.

    A major factor for the Fighting Irish at the faceoff position during his first two seasons, going 182-for-348 (.523) ... has played in 28 career games ... four points on three goals and one assist ... 84 ground balls ... two monograms ... has battled injuries during his Notre Dame career ... has developed into a good all-around midfielder ... good at making adjustments in his game ... has a high lacrosse IQ.

    AS A SOPHOMORE (2012): Played in 14 games and split the team's faceoff duties ... was 94-for-189 (.497) in faceoff attempts ... scooped up a team-best - and career-high - 43 ground balls ... posted four points on three goals and one assist ... attempted seven shots ... was 6-for-11 in faceoffs in the 7-3 season-opening win over Duke ... scored his first career goal in an 8-7 win at Ohio State ... the tally against the Buckeyes put the Irish up 8-6 with 2:15 left to play ... netted a goal and picked up four ground balls in a 12-9 win over Rutgers ... made it three straight games with a goal as he deposited a tally in a 13-6 win over St. John's at the Big City Classic ... went 9-for-16 in faceoffs against the Red Storm in addition to scooping up four ground balls ... matched a career-high total of eight ground balls and won a career-high 14 faceoffs (on 18 attempts) in an 8-7 setback to St. John's in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Championship ... won faceoff attempts and assisted on a goal in a 7-5 loss to Loyola in the semifinals of the NCAA Championship ... also had four ground balls versus Loyola ... earned his second monogram.

    AS A FRESHMAN (2011): Had a very productive freshman season at the faceoff position ... ranked 18th nationally with a .553 faceoff winning percentage (88-for-159) ... picked up a team-high 41 ground balls ... went 7-for-11 in faceoffs in his collegiate debut, a 12-7 season-opening win over Duke ... also had five ground balls against the Blue Devils ... went 10-for-17 in the faceoff circle and scooped up seven ground balls in an 11-7 triumph of Drexel ... registered a season-best winning percentage by going 13-for-16 (.813) in an 8-7 victory over Ohio State ... matched a season-high total with 13 faceoff victories (in 21 attempts) in a 14-3 win at Providence ... went 12-for-19 and picked up a season-high eight ground balls in an 11-8 setback at Syracuse ... was 7-for-9 against Duke in a 7-5 loss in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championship ... earned a monogram.
