AS A SENIOR (2014): Played in all 18 games and was the team’s primary faceoff specialist … went 206-of-355 (.580) in faceoffs … tied a career-high mark with three goals and dished out a career-best six assists … picked up a career-high and team-high 124 ground balls … went 19-of-25 in faceoffs, picked up a career-high 15 ground balls and scored a goal in the season opener, a 19-7 win over Jacksonville … went 6-of-14 in the 8-7 loss to Penn State … won 16 of 23 faceoff attempts in the 11-10 win at North Carolina in the ACC opener … was 15-of-21 in faceoffs in the 10-7 setback to Denver … won 19 of 24 faceoff attempts and scored a goal and assisted on another in the 18-9 victory over Virginia … tallied a goal and was victorious in 14-of-23 faceoff attempts in the 13-7 besting of Ohio State … was 7-of-21 in the 11-10 loss at Syracuse … went 15-of-25 in the regular-season clash with Duke, a 15-7 setback … won 11 of 20 attempts in the 12-7 victory at Marquette … posted a single-game career-high faceoff winning percentage of 85 percent (17-20) and dished out a career-high three assists in the 15-5 win over Robert Morris … was 2-of-13 in the regular-season loss to Maryland … took four attempts without a win in the 6-5 victory over Maryland in the semifinals of the ACC Championship … 2-of-8 in the 15-14 win over Syracuse in the title game of the ACC Championship … won 16 of 29 attempts and assisted on a goal in the 18-17 win over Army … went 13-of-21 in the 13-5 win over Maryland in the first round of the NCAA Championship … posted a career-high 21 faceoff wins (in 31 attempts) in the 14-13 overtime victory over Albany in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championship … was 3-of-10 in the 11-6 besting of Maryland in the NCAA semifinals … went 10-of-23 and dished out an assist in the national title game … earned his fourth monogram.
AS A JUNIOR (2013): Played in 10 games and took a team-high 176 faceoff attempts ... was 92-of-176 (.523) in faceoffs ... tallied three goals and one assist ... picked up a team-best 44 ground balls ... scored a career-high two goals and picked up seven ground balls and went 10-of-21 in faceoffs in the 10-9 overtime triumph at Penn State ... his second goal against the Nittany Lions gave the Irish a 9-8 lead with 18 seconds left in regulation ... posted a season-best faceoff winning percentage of .680 (17-25) in the 10-9 triple-overtime victory over North Carolina ... also assisted on a goal and picked up a career-high nine ground balls against the Tar Heels ... matched a career-high faceoff win total of 17 (on 28 attempts) and scored a goal in the 13-12 overtime win at Denver ... missed six games due to injury ... a BIG EAST Academic All-Star ... earned his third monogram.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2012): Played in 14 games and split the team's faceoff duties ... was 94-for-189 (.497) in faceoff attempts ... scooped up a team-best 43 ground balls ... posted four points on three goals and one assist ... attempted seven shots ... was 6-for-11 in faceoffs in the 7-3 season-opening win over Duke ... scored his first career goal in an 8-7 win at Ohio State ... the tally against the Buckeyes put the Irish up 8-6 with 2:15 left to play ... netted a goal and picked up four ground balls in a 12-9 win over Rutgers ... made it three straight games with a goal as he deposited a tally in a 13-6 win over St. John's at the Big City Classic ... went 9-for-16 in faceoffs against the Red Storm in addition to scooping up four ground balls ... matched a career-high total of eight ground balls and won a season-high 14 faceoffs (on 18 attempts) in an 8-7 setback to St. John's in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Championship ... won faceoff attempts and assisted on a goal in a 7-5 loss to Loyola in the semifinals of the NCAA Championship ... also had four ground balls versus Loyola ... earned his second monogram.
AS A FRESHMAN (2011): Had a very productive freshman season at the faceoff position ... ranked 18th nationally with a .553 faceoff winning percentage (88-for-159) ... picked up a team-high 41 ground balls ... went 7-for-11 in faceoffs in his collegiate debut, a 12-7 season-opening win over Duke ... also had five ground balls against the Blue Devils ... went 10-for-17 in the faceoff circle and scooped up seven ground balls in an 11-7 triumph of Drexel ... registered a season-best winning percentage by going 13-for-16 (.813) in an 8-7 victory over Ohio State ... matched a season-high total with 13 faceoff victories (in 21 attempts) in a 14-3 win at Providence ... went 12-for-19 and picked up a season-high eight ground balls in an 11-8 setback at Syracuse ... was 7-for-9 against Duke in a 7-5 loss in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championship ... earned a monogram.
