NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The University of Notre Dame men's lacrosse team will appear on the ESPN family of networks four times during the 2013 regular season. ESPN recently released its full 2013 men's college lacrosse schedule.

The Fighting Irish will have three games broadcast on ESPNU/WatchESPN and one contest on ESPN3. Full 2013 ESPN lacrosse schedule.

The Notre Dame-Denver showdown on March 16 at the Whitman's Sampler Mile High Lacrosse Classic can be seen on ESPN3 at 6:30 p.m. (MT). That contest will take place at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, Colo.

Notre Dame will appear on ESPNU three consecutive weekends in April. The Irish will square off with league foe Syracuse April 27 at the Konica Minolta Big City Classic. ESPNU will cover that showdown, which is slated for 6:30 p.m. (ET) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

Those three ESPNU games also will be available on WatchESPN.com and on smartphones and tablets via the WatchESPN app to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.

The ESPN networks will cover the 2013 BIG EAST Championship. The first semifinal on May 2 will air on ESPNU/WatchESPN, while the second semifinal will appear on ESPN3. The championship game on May 4 will be broadcast on ESPNU/WatchESPN.

The Fighting Irish went 13-3 last season and won the BIG EAST regular-season title with a 6-0 league record. Notre Dame topped Yale, 13-7, in the first round of the NCAA Championship and then defeated Virginia, 12-10, in the tournament's quarterfinals. The Irish fell to Loyola, 7-5, in the semifinals. It was Notre Dame's second national semifinal appearance in the past three seasons.

Notre Dame will open its 2013 campaign Feb. 16 at Duke. Prior to that contest, the Fighting Irish will face the U.S. National Team in the Champion Challenge for the third consecutive season at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. That game is slated for Jan. 26.
