    2014 Notre Dame Schedule

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - It will be difficult NOT to watch the University of Notre Dame men's lacrosse team this season as nearly every game can be seen on TV or the Internet. Six regular-season contests are slated for TV, while four are scheduled to be streamed online.

Sunday's regular-season opener at Jacksonville will air on the NBC Sports Network at 7 p.m. (ET). The Fighting Irish will have a minimum of six contests on the ESPN Family of Networks. Home Atlantic Coast Conference matchups with Virginia (March 16, 5 p.m.), Duke (April 5, noon) and Maryland (April 19, noon) along with the regular-season finale against Army (May 3, noon) will air on ESPNU.

ESPNU will also cover Notre Dame's ACC tilt at Syracuse (March 29, noon) and ESPN3 will broadcast the road showdown versus North Carolina (March 1, noon). The ACC Tournament (April 25 & 27) can be seen on ESPNU.

WatchND.tv will air home tilts against Penn State (Feb. 22, 3 p.m.) and Robert Morris (April 12, 1 p.m.) as long as they are played outside at Arlotta Stadium. Those streaming broadcasts are free of charge. Notre Dame's showdown at Ohio State (March 25, 4 p.m.) also will be streamed online (fee required).

The Fighting Irish are ranked fifth in the Warrior, Lacrosse Magazine and United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) preseason polls. Notre Dame checked in at No. 4 in the Inside Lacrosse Face-Off Yearbook rankings.

Notre Dame will face the other top-nine squads of the Warrior media poll during the 2014 regular season. The Irish are the only team in the nation to have eight top-10 squads on their regular-season docket.

The Fighting Irish are entering their first season of ACC play and all six of the league members appear in the top-10 of the Warrior poll. Duke, Syracuse and North Carolina occupy the top three spots, respectively, while Maryland is sixth and Virginia is eighth.

Notre Dame's non-conference ledger features three other top-10 foes - No. 4 Denver, No. 7 Penn State and No. 9 Ohio State.

The Fighting Irish are coming off an 11-5 campaign. Notre Dame finished the 2013 regular season with the nation's top RPI and earned a program-best No. 2 seed for the NCAA Championship before advancing to the NCAA quarterfinals for the fourth straight season. Notre Dame is one of just two programs (Maryland) that have qualified for each of the last eight NCAA tournaments.
