Men's Lacrosse Player Earns Accolades

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Notre Dame attack David Ulrich (Baltimore, Md.) has been selected as the Great Western Lacrosse League Player of the Week for his performance in last Saturday's 14-10 Irish win at Villanova.

Ulrich, who leads the team in scoring with six goals and 15 assists, netted a goal and tied his career and season-high with five assists in the victory. He also had five assists against Air Force on March 7.

As a freshman, Ulrich was the team's second-leading scorer with 16 goals and 18 assists. His 18 assists and 34 points were both Notre Dame freshman records.

The Irish currently are 3-1 and ranked 17th in the STX/United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) ranking.
