NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The NCAA Division I men's lacrosse game between #9 Notre Dame (2-1) and Butler University (2-2) will be played indoors at the Loftus Sports Center on Notre Dame's campus at 1 p.m. (EST) on Saturday. The game was scheduled to be played at Moose Krause Stadium, but weather conditions have made it impossible for that field to be ready for game play on Saturday. The contest was originally scheduled to be televised on a tape-delayed basis by Comcast Sports Local, but now will not be aired.

Notre Dame and Butler will open the Great Western Lacrosse League season in a battle of the only two Division I men's lacrosse teams in the state of Indiana. It also is the home opener for the Irish, as well as one of just three home games this season for Notre Dame.
