Saturday's NCAA Division I men's lacrosse showdown between #9 Notre Dame (3-1) and #13 Hofstra (3-3) has had its start time altered slightly, as that matchup will now begin at 2 p.m. (EST) at Hofstra Stadium. Additionally, the game time for Notre Dame's contest on Monday at Villanova (4-2) has been announced as 1 p.m. (EST), with that game being played in Villanova Stadium.
The Irish-Pride contest will be one of four top-15 tussles this week in Division I, and it also will serve as a homecoming for the 10 Long Island natives (out of 41 players) on Notre Dame's roster. The ND-VU game was originally scheduled for March 8, but it was postponed due to inclement weather. The teams will meet for the first time since 2000 and the first time at Villanova since 1999.
