we have participated in the NCAA tournament for eight of the last nine years and advanced to the quarterfinals in two of the last six years.
we are the only school that ranks in the top five in highest graduation rate, Division I student-athlete graduation rate, and graduation rate for athletes who complete their eligibility. EVERY senior lacrosse player, since attaining varsity status is 1981, has graduated.

we offer, during Notre Dame's First Year of Studies, a broad range of curriculum and a special advisement program which includes free tutoring and group study sessions, allowing 98% of freshman students to complete their first year successfully.

we are the only 12th seed to win an NCAA tournament game when we beat fifth-seeded Duke 12-10 in 1995 and fifth-seeded Loyola 15-13 in 2000.
