NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Notre Dame senior goalie Scott Rodgers (Wantagh, N.Y./MacArthur) is featured on the cover of the October issue of Inside Lacrosse magazine. Among other things, the issue previews the 2009 fall ball season and the newly formed BIG EAST Conference for men's lacrosse.
Last season, Rodgers earned third-team All-America honors from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) in addition to being named the Great Western Lacrosse League Player of the Year. Rodgers was the statistical national champion for goals-against average (6.14) and save percentage (.663) as he helped the Fighting Irish win a program record 15 games. The goals-against average also was a Notre Dame record.
