AS A JUNIOR: One of the top long-sprint performers on the Irish roster in 2000-01 ... began the indoor season with the 500 meters, finishing third vs. Ball State and Western Michigan and second the next week vs. Michigan State ... placed fourth in the 500 meters at the Meyo Invitational (1:04.89) ... qualified for the BIG EAST indoor championship in the 500 meters, finishing fifth in his heat (1:05.18) at the meet ... moved to the 400 meters at the Alex Wilson Invitational and posted a career-best 48.80 to finish sixth ... consistently improved his 400 meter time in the early outdoor season, culminating with a personal-best 49.00 at the Tom Botts Invitaitonal ... took second place in the 400 meters at the Woodland Mortgage Relays ... continued string of top finishes with a runner-up effort (49.19) in the 400 meters at the Boilermaker Open.
