AS A SENIOR: Making his fourth appearance in NCAA championships and third consecutive appearance in 10,000 meters, joining teammate Errol Williams for most appearances by Notre Dame track and field athlete since Bill Hurd's five from 1968-69...enters field of 19 with 10th fastest and career best time of 29:10.41...this 29:10.41 marks second fastest time in Irish history and placed him sixth at Stanford Invitational...won 5,000 and took second in 10,000 meters at BIG EAST outdoor championship...double winner at BIG EAST indoor championship in 3,000 and 5,000 and took third in mile...guided Irish cross country team to sixth straight NCAA championship appearance and first BIG EAST title as top finisher in both races...selected as GTE/CoSIDA Men's Spring At-Large Academic All-District and now is eligible for Academic All-America honors for the second consecutive year.
