Errol Williams Places Eighth At NCAA Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Notre Dame senior Errol Williams placed eighth in the 55-meter hurdles at the NCAA indoor track and field championships in his first appearance in the NCAA indoor championships after two previous appearances in the outdoor championships.

The Lauderhill, Fla., native, entered seeded 12th of 15 runners in the field but finished third in his heat to advance to the finals. Williams, who the BIG EAST 55-meter hurdles title in February, ran 7.34 in his semifinal to advance to the final and ran 7.38 in the finals to finish eighth.
