Millar, who is in his ninth season at Notre Dame, will be in charge

"I'm really looking forward to the opportunity, especially getting
the chance to go to Japan," Millar said. "It's also a chance for me
personally to visit with other coaches from all over the world and discuss
things such as training."
The native of Toronto, Canada, has previous coaching experience at
both the national and international level. He currently serves as USA Track
and Field's national women's hurdle coordinator and was on the coaching
staff for Canada at both the 1983 World Championships and the 1984
Olympics. Millar's collegiate resume includes a six-year stay at the
University of Texas, where he coached 96 NCAA All-Americans, two years at
Tennessee and two years as the head coach at York University in Toronto.
