AS A SENIOR: Will figure in the mix at central defender for the Irish in 2004 left-handed defender adds depth to the Irish backfield solid defender who works hard in practice and has a good attitude gives the Irish coaching staff a dependable player in the lineup. AS A JUNIOR: Played a key role in Notre Dame's late season surge to the BIG EAST Championship and Sweet 16 of the NCAA Championship started the final nine games of the 2003 season at central defender, helping Notre Dame compose an 8-0-1 record in that span also played a part in six shutouts during his nine starts made first appearance of the season at Syracuse also played against Rutgers and Cleveland State before appearing in the starting line up at Providence move to the starting line up pushed freshman defender Greg Dalby to the midfield member of the 2003-04 BIG EAST Academic All-Star team. AS A SOPHOMORE: Played in four games saw action in his first collegiate game in Notre Dame's 4-0 win over Seton Hall also played in the Irish's 5-1 win over Providence and in wins at Akron and Villanova. AS A FRESHMAN: Did not see action during the 2001 season. HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Three-time Pacific View League all-conference selection earned first-team all-regional and all-city honors as a senior helped team to two conference championships in both his sophomore and junior seasons two-time team captain and a four-year performer on varsity team recorded 10 goals and eight assists as a senior participated in a high school All-America game played in three summer camp all-star games named US Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete member of Key Club also participated in track as a hurdler named to the BIG EAST Academic All-Star Team for the 2002-03 school year father Ken played water polo at University of California-Berkeley born Nov. 19, 1982 son of Kenneth and Sandra High enrolled as a finance major in the Mendoza College of Business. |
