AS A SENIOR: A two-time monogram winner • will compete with junior Chris Cahill and freshmen Andrew Quinn and Luke Seibolt for the starting goalkeeper spot • has played in four games during his collegiate career, making three saves without allowing a goal in just over 31 minutes of action • looks to claim the starting spot during the preseason after a solid showing during the 2005 spring season.

AS A JUNIOR: Back up to All-American goalkeeper Chris Sawyer during the 2004 season • appeared in three games, totaling 20:24 • did not allow a goal, while making two saves • first action of the season came in a 1-0 loss to West Virginia as he played the final 52 seconds • logged most minutes of the campaign versus Loyola-Chicago by playing the final 16:41 • made two saves versus the Ramblers • appeared in the final 2:51 during Notre Dame's 2-1 loss to Ohio State in the NCAA tournament.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Back up to starting goalkeeper Chris Sawyer during the 2003 season • made first career appearance at Cleveland State, making one save in 10 minutes during Notre Dame's 6-0 victory • member of the 2003-04 BIG EAST Academic All-Star Team.

AS A FRESHMAN: Did not see action in any games during the 2002 campaign.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: A two-year starter for St. Stephens Episcopal School after transferring from St. Andrews Episcopal School which had no varsity athletics • served as team captain in both his junior and senior seasons • earned all-state honors in each of his final two prep campaigns • two-time first-team all-Southwest Preparatory Conference selection and first-team all-South Zone honoree • earned team MVP honors as a senior after leading team to 21-1-1 record and recording 17 shutouts • guided squad to SPC league titles and South Zone championship in senior season • member of State Olympic Development Team in 2001 • starting goalkeeper for the Austin Capitals Soccer Club since 1998 • helped that team register a 165-32-22 mark while registering 120 shutouts • led that squad to '01 South Texas State crown as he led entire state with 0.81 goals-against average • selected to all-star team at the Notre Dame Elite Soccer Camp in summer prior to the start of his final scholastic campaign • father Mark played soccer at Reed College • member of high school's Cum Laude Society • earned Dean's List recognition in spring of 2003 and 2005 • born March 4, 1984 • son of Mark and Louise Michaud • enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business with a major in finance • has a 3.518 cumulative grade-point average.
