AS A JUNIOR: One of three players who started all 19 games in 2001 •
scored two goals during his junior season • netted his first
collegiate goal in Notre Dame's 5-0 win over Villanova in the season
opener as he scored with 14 minutes remaining in the contest off an
assist from Rafael Garcia • added another goal in Notre Dame's 3-2
win at Bradley when he tallied a score at the 7:58 mark that put the
Irish up 1-0 in the contest off an assist from Chad Riley.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Made 10 starting appearances in the 16 games he
played during the 2000 campaign • started the first four games of the
season before missing the first start of his career in the fifth
contest of the season versus Syracuse • prior to that game, had
started the previous 24 contests of his career.
AS A FRESHMAN: One of three freshman to start all 20 games • dished
off two assists during the '99 campaign • had both of his assists in
5-2 win over Eastern Michigan • dished off first career assist on
Dustin Pridmore's first goal at the 14:37 mark of the contest and
then assisted on Andrew Aris' goal at 87:58.
HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: Member of Under-18 National Team •
competed for that team in international tournaments in Slovakia and
Russia • three-year starter and four-year letterwinner at American •
led high school squad to four consecutive District 13-6A titles and
two regional crowns • helped American to state in final scholastic
season • as a junior and senior was named first-team all-state and
all-city • as a junior, his high school team was ranked first
nationally after posting a 31-1 record • anchored a defense that
allowed just eight goals all season • scored 15 goals as a defender
