Third-year player gained considerable playing experience after earning six starts in the six games he played • a quick, versatile player who will be vying with junior Greg Tait and freshman Chris Sawyer for the starting job in goal • possesses good quickness around the goal • plays with a great deal of confidence when he is in games • has a strong vertical leap which makes it difficult for opponents to get the ball over his head around the goal.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Played in six games and earned six starts in those games • in his first collegiate start (and first game of his career), he helped Notre Dame shutout 10th-ranked St. John’s in its 1-0 upset as he made six saves in the contest • also came up with six saves in Irish’s 2-0 loss to Georgetown • registered a career-high seven saves against Villanova in 2-1 victory • posted a 1.09 goals against average and .793 save percentage while making 23 saves • also was credited with 2.5 shutouts.

AS A FRESHMAN: Did not see any playing time during the ’99 campaign.
