Notre Dame Hands TCU Loss in OT, 4-3
Ft.Worth, Texas - Despite having a first period goal recalled due to an offsides call, Notre Dame managed to beat TCU 4-3 in sudden-death overtime. The Horned Frogs now drop to 4-5.
Notre Dame senior Ryan Turner scored the game-winner off the double assist from Alan Woods and Bill Savarino just 2:59 into overtime. Turner also had two additional goals against TCU keeper Ian Keate.
TCU received two goals from freshman Aaron Grieshaber and one from senior Heath Driver off a penalty kick in the second period.
Next action for the Horned Frogs is Tuesday, October 7, against Texas Wesleyan at the TCU Soccer Field at 4 p.m.
