2017 National Soccer Coaching Seminar Set For March 11

NATIONAL SOCCER COACHING SEMINAR WEBSITE


NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Registration is now open for the 2017 National Soccer Coaching Seminar, set to take place on March 11 on the campus of the University of Notre Dame. The annual national coaching seminar is hosted by the Notre Dame men's and women's soccer programs, and will be held inside the Loftus Sports Center.

Headlining the 2017 seminar is Notre Dame men's head coach and 2013 NCAA champion Bobby Clark and Irish women's head coach and 2016 ACC champion Theresa Romagnolo, along with men's soccer associate head coach BJ Craig, men's soccer assistant coach Michael Casper, women's soccer assistant coach Dawn Siergiej and women's soccer assistant coach Nate Norman.

Theresa Romagnolo

Michael Casper

University from 2007-14 • All-time Saint Francis leader with 71 career wins and 36 conference victories • Four-time NEC finalist at Saint Francis • 1999 NEC champion as a player at UMBC • United States Soccer Federation "A" License


Dawn Siergiej


Assistant coach for women's soccer at the University of Notre Dame • 2016 ACC regular season co-champion • 2014 and 2016 ACC Championship semifinalist • 2004 and 2010 NCAA champion • 14 NCAA Championship appearances as a collegiate coach, including six College Cup appearances • Helped lead Notre Dame to 13 combined BIG EAST Conference titles from 2003-12 • Has mentored more than 80 all-conference players • 1998 NSCAA All-America second team choice and three-time all-Big 12 selection at Baylor University • 2011 Baylor Athletics Hall of Fame Inductee


Nate Norman

Assistant coach for women's soccer at the University of Notre Dame • 2016 Big South Tournament champion as head coach at Liberty University • 2013 and 2015 MAC Tournament champion as head coach at Western Michigan University • 2015 MAC Coach of the Year • 2015 NSCAA Great Lakes Region Coach of the Year • Mentored 21 all-conference players during head coaching tenures • Past assistant coaching experience at Notre Dame (men's volunteer), Covenant College (men), Western Michigan and the University of Miami (Florida) • Four-year Monogram winner at Notre Dame (2003-06) • 2007 MLS SuperDraft pick (21st overall) of the Chicago Fire
