NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Senior forward Ryan Finley and junior forward Harrison Shipp have earned accolades for their performances in helping the Notre Dame men's soccer team win the adidas/IU Credit Union Classic. Finley tallied two goals and one assist, while Shipp registered one goal and two assists as the Irish went 2-0 at the event.

Finley was tapped as the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week in addition to being selected to the College Soccer News national team of the week. Shipp was named to the Top Drawer Soccer national team of the week.

Finley (Lumberton, N.J.) netted two goals in Friday's 3-2 win over San Diego State. He put the Irish up 2-1 in the 61st minute and 3-1 in the 82nd minute. Finley assisted on Dillon Powers' game winner in the 43rd minute in Sunday's 2-1 victory over Clemson.

Shipp (Lake Forest, Ill.) matched a career-high total with four points in the San Diego State match. His goal gave Notre Dame a 1-0 lead in the 26th minute and he then assisted on both Finley goals.

Finley and Shipp were part of a quartet of Fighting Irish players named to the adidas/IU Credit Union Classic all-tournament team.

Finley leads Notre Dame in goals (3) and points (7) this season. Shipp has a team-best three assists and ranks second in points with five.

No. 15 Notre Dame (3-0-0) will hold the 11th annual Mike Berticelli Memorial Tournament this weekend at Alumni Stadium. The Fighting Irish will face Oregon State on Friday (7:30 p.m. ET) and No. 6 Akron on Sunday (2:15 p.m.). No.10 Indiana is the fourth team in the field.
