AS A SOPHOMORE: Speed specialist who ranked among the top Irish swimmers in the 50 free, 100 free and 100 fly
ended up as the third-fastest on the team in the 50 freestyle (21.42)
also was among the top five in the 100 free and 100 fly
competed in all three events at the 2002 BIG EAST Championship
placed 28th in the 100 fly, 30th in the 50 free and 31st in the 100 free at the BIG EAST meet
