AS A JUNIOR: A multi-event performer and integral part of several record-setting relays for the Irish in 1998-99 ... swam the second leg on the 1999 BIG EAST champion 400 freestyle relay, which secured the team’s runner-up finish in the meet’s last event ... BIG EAST 400 freestyle relay also set a school-record time of 3:01.38 and was the team’s first win in a relay event at the BIG EAST championships ... member of the fourth-place 200 freestyle relay team which set a school-record time at the 1999 BIG EAST meet of 1:23.09 ... earned all-BIG EAST honors on the third-place 800 freestyle relay team, which swam a time of 6:46.54 ... competed individually at the 1999 BIG EAST meet in the 100 butterfly, 100 freestyle and the 200 individual medley with his best finish being fifth in the 100 free (46.28) ... four first-place finishes individually, twice in the 200 individual medley against Buffalo and Wisconsin-Milwaukee and once in the 100 backstroke at the Shamrock Classic and in the 100 freestyle against Wisconsin-Milwaukee ... seven top-four finishes in the 200 individual medley.
