The Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving teams hosted the Shamrock Invitational at the Rolfs Aquatic Center on January 29
AS A SOPHOMORE: Registered two personal-bests at the Shamrock Invitational, his best meet of the year ... two personal records included swims of 51.86 in the 100 fly and 1:49.71 in the 200 fly ... also swam a 4:51.32 in the 500 free in a tri-meet against Oakland and Michigan for another personal-best time ... registered a 1:52.95 in the 200 IM at the Shamrock Invitational for a top season time ... that time was less than a second away from another personal best ... also competed in the 400 IM (4:02.52) at the inviational and earned another top season time.
AS A FRESHMAN: Swam a myriad of events for the Irish during the season ... personal bests in the 400 IM (4:00.98) and 200 fly (1:49.80) came during the prelim session at the BIG EAST Championships as an exhibition swimmer ... stopped the clock at 9:58.20 in the 1000 free and 53.31 in the 100 fly in a tri-meet with Cleveland State and Miami (Ohio) for personal best times ... touched the pad at 4:53.21 in the 500 free in a dual meet against Pittsburgh for another personal best ... competed in the 200 IM at the Ohio State Invitational and finished in a time of 1:52.19 which is a career best ... shaved over seven seconds off his 200 IM time over the course of the season ... racked in three top three finishes over the course of the regular season.
