One of team's top 200 butterflyers ... a two-time monogram winner ... ranks ninth in school history in the event (career-best 1:51.10) ... also has contributed in middle-distance freestyle events ... affable personality makes him a team favorite ... missed second half of 2003-04 season ... adds fun factor to team functions ... capable of huge amounts of work. AS A JUNIOR: Posted BIG EAST "A" cuts in the 500-yard free (4:39.40), 200-yard fly (1:51.10) and the 200-yard IM (1:54.92) ... established BIG EAST "B" cuts in the 200-yard free (1:43.72) and the 100-yard fly (52.45) ... fifth on the team in the 200-fly ... collected 85 total points (66 individual, 19 relay) ... posted an individual win and was part of a relay win. AS A SOPHOMORE: Missed spring semester of season, but still ranked fourth on team in 200 butterfly (1:52.75) ... posted BIG EAST "A" cuts in 200 fly and 500 free (4:38.43) and a "B" mark in the 200 free (1:43.76) ... scored 57 points in first-semester action ... posted eighth-fastest 200 fly time in the BIG EAST during the regular season. AS A FRESHMAN: Contributed in middle distance freestyle and butterfly lanes in 2002-03 ... second-fastest on team in 200 freestyle and third in 200 fly ... also qualified for BIG EAST Championships in 500 free, posting season bests in all three events ... anchored 800 free relay that posted fastest time in that event since 1991, finishing sixth in BIG EAST meet ... was 13th in 200 fly ... had a pair of top-three finishes in dual meets ... also swam 100 and 1000 free and 100 fly at times during dual-meet season.
