AS A JUNIOR: Established school records in one- and three-meter diving during the 2001-02 season, putting himself in contention to become the first mens swimmer or diver to qualify for the NCAA Championship finished fourth at the NCAA Zone C diving meet in West Lafayette, Ind., with 315.95 points (the top three finishers move on to the NCAA Championship) finished six points behind Timo Klami from Iowa (321.10) ended up eighth off the three-meter board at the Zone C meet (477.70) set the school one-meter diving record (six dives) against Cleveland State with 339.29 points seven days earlier, he set the school three-meter diving mark with a 383.35 effort against St. Bonaventure ended up fifth in one-meter (306.40) and sixth in three-meter (507.40) at the 2002 BIG EAST Championship.
