AS A FRESHMAN: Turned in the team's fastest time of the season in the 200 back prelims (1:45.78) at the BIG EAST Championships, while also recording a season-best in the 100 back prelims (48.77) ... the 200 back swim was the third-fastest in school history ... picked up a pair of top-eight finishes at the Northwestern Invitational, hitting the pad in the 100 back in 51.26 and the 200 medley relay in 1:32.52 ... swam at the Shamrock Invitational, placing fifth in three different events ... in dual meet action, picked up two fourth-place finishes in the 100 and 200 back ... PREP AND PERSONAL: Four-year letter-winner at North Allegheny High School for coach Kirk Semler ... won two team state championships and three district championships with the Tigers ... won an individual state championship in the 200 IM ... nine-time district individual/relay champion ... also participated in water polo at North Allegheny ... swam with the Allegheny North Swim Club ...
