The Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving teams took on Michigan State at home on January 21st.
AS A FRESHMAN: Versatile swimmer who contributed in a variety of strokes and distances ... competed in three individual events at the BIG EAST Championships in his inaugural campaign with the Irish, compiling two top-eight finishes ... took sixth place in the 200 backstroke (1:47.88) in a season-best time ... touched in at eighth in the 400 individual medley and recorded his best time of the season during the preliminary heats (3:52.36) ... best 200 IM swim (1:49.44) of the season came in prelims at the BIG EAST Championships ... recorded his best 200 butterfly swim (1:53.52) of the year at the Hawkeye Invitational ... came in third in the same event in the dual meet against Michigan State, touching in at 1:53.60 ... saw other dual meet action against Pittsburgh, Louisville, Purdue, Northwestern, and the quad meet against Michigan, Oakland, and TCU ... earned a monogram.
