The Men & Women's Swimming & Diving teams hosted the Shamrock Invitational at Rolfs Aquatic Center on January 28-29th.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Swam to personal-best times of 21.09 in the 50 free and 1:39.37 in the 200 free in the preliminary sessions of the BIG EAST Championships ... swam the 200 IM in 1:54.63 at the Shamrock Invitational for another personal-best mark ... top 100 free time on the season was 45.64, just over a tenth of a second away from another personal-best time ... tried his luck at the 100 breast at the Indy Grand Prix and finished in 1:00.65.
AS A FRESHMAN: Competed in three individual races and in one relay for the Irish at the BIG EAST Championships, all of which were freestyle events ... the 400 free relay performance was an NCAA B-cut time ... swam personal bests of 21.10 in the 50 free, 45.48 in the 100 free and 1:40.12 in the 200 free at the league meet ... swam the 200 IM against Michigan State and finished in a time of 1:57 ... competed against Pittsburgh in 100 fly, stopping the clock at 52.49 ... swam in 17 freestyle events over the course of the season ... tallied three top three finishes on the dual meet season.
