AS A FRESHMAN: Regular entrant in the 200 free, 200 breast, and 200 and 400 IM in his first collegiate season ... made first Notre Dame appearance at the quad meet with Michigan, TCU and Oakland, competing in the 200 breast and 200 IM ... third-place finisher in the 400 IM (4:05.47) in a dual meet at Purdue ... touched the wall in 1:49.68 in the 200 IM and 3:56.30 in the 400 IM at the Hawkeye Invitational ... logged a third-place finish (4:01.89) in the 400 IM at the Shamrock Invitational ... clocked a 1:51.72 for fourth in the 200 IM at the same meet ... swam three events at the BIG EAST Championships, setting personal-bests in the 200 breast (2:03.07) and the 400 IM (3:54.23) ... won a monogram.
