AS A SOPHOMORE: One of the top sprint freestyle specialists on the team ... finished ninth at the 1999 BIG EAST Championships in the 50 freestyle ... took fourth place in the 200 freestyle vs. Cleveland State ... swam well early in the year, taking fifth in the 50 freestyle and fourth in the 100 freestyle vs. Army and Air Force ... placed fifth in the 100 freestyle vs. Stanford ... swam the 100 backstroke, 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle at the 1999 BIG EAST Championships ... highest finish of the season came vs. Wisconsin-Milwaukee, second place in the 50 freestyle (21.93).
