AS A SOPHOMORE: Had a breakout sophomore season and registered four personal best times ... three of those four came at the BIG EAST Championships as an exhibition swimmer ... the career-bests consisted of performances of 55.16 in the 100 breast, 2:00.43 in the 200 breast and 1:52.03 in the 200 IM ... the 55.16 showing in the 100 breast was an NCAA B-cut time, the first of his college career ... the 100 breast time was eighth fastest time swum in Notre Dame history while the 200 breast was the fourth fastest time in school history and the fastest 200 breast swim since 2007 ... the additional personal-best time came against Purdue in the 100 fly with a 52.91 showing.
AS A FRESHMAN: Primarily swam the breaststroke and individual medley ... came on strong at the end of the end of the season as he swam to top seasonal times at the BIG EAST Championships in the 100 breast (56.47), 200 breast (2:04.05) and the 200 IM (1:52.96) as an exhibition swimmer... his 100 breast time would have made the finals in the league meet ... notched an additional personal best at the Ohio State Invitational with time of 53.44 in the 100 fly ... swam a total of 15 breaststroke races throughout the course of the season.
THE WEBER FILE: Four-time high school All-American at Marshall (Mo.) while collecting the honors in the 100 breast and 200 IM in both his junior and senior seasons ... 10- time all-state performer with eight individual and two relay accolades ...
