AS A JUNIOR: Had a phenomenal showing at the BIG EAST Championships as an exhibition showing ... broke his own personal records in the 100 and 200 back, clocking in at 50.05 and 1:48.43, respectively ... also swam the 500 free in 4:36.66 at the league championships, just over a second away from another personal-best swim ... top 1,000 free time on the season came against Cleveland State when he touched the pad at 9:57.51.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Set two season best times at the BIG EAST Championships as an exhibition swimmer... times included a 4:40.49 performance in the 500 free and a 1:50.98 performance in the 200 back ... recorded a personal best performance in the 100 back (51.74) in the preliminary session of the Ohio State Invitational ... trimmed greater than ten seconds off his 200 back time over the course of the season.
AS A FRESHMAN: Swam 20 backstroke races throughout the year ... best 100 back (51.93) came during the BIG EAST Championships ... top 200 back (1:51.64) was also posted at the league meet ... went 4:35.64 in the 500 free at the league meet for a season- best in that event ... earned the team's Beeler- Hipp award.
