AS A FRESHMAN: Demonstrated grit at the BIG EAST Championships by stepping up and punching in times during the final rounds that were all faster than his preliminary performances ... seized two ninth-place finishes and one 10th-place finish during the league meet in the 400 IM (3:57.70), 200 Back (1:50.01) and 200 Fly (1:50.15), respectively ... also finished the 400 IM in 4:05.21 at the Ohio State Invitational while clocking a 1:57.04 in the 200 IM ... swam the 100 Fly (52.32) against Cleveland State, when he also posted his best time of the season in the 100 Back (52.26) ... slashed Louisville with a 25.54 in the 50 Back.
