Men's and Women's Diving Teams Stellar at NCAA's
OXFORD, Ohio -- Notre Dame's men's and women's diving team turned in two top-10 finishes at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships at Miami University on Saturday. Sophomore Gina Ketelhohn placed ninth in the women's three-meter diving while Herb Huesman finished 10th in the men's one-meter competition to wrap up competition at the two-day event.
Ketelhohn, 33rd in the three-meter event a year ago, finished ninth with a score of 407.95. Sophomore Rhiana Saunders, 23rd a year ago, finished 12th with a score of 380.50 while freshman Jessica Johnstone was right behind in 13th with a score of 380.20. Freshman Karli Richards was 30th with 318.40.
On the men's side, Huesman placed 10th with a score of 419.15, a year after withdrawing from the one-meter event.
