First Olympian in Notre Dame swimming history ... finished 33rd in 400 IM and 41st in 200 IM in Athens (2004) ... in the latter race, turned in the fastest reaction time (0.59) of any non-backstroker among male and female swimmers competing in the Olympics ... Cayman Islands record holder in long-course meters in all backstroke, breaststroke, and IM events, as well as the 100 fly ... became Cayman Islands' first-ever Olympic qualifier ... broke his own Cayman Islands national records in both races and improved upon seeding in both events ... failed to make the Olympics in his top event (100 back) but then qualified in the 200 IM (at the 2003 Caribbean Championships in Jamaica).
