Magnano Wins Consolation Championship
PRINCETON, N.J. --- University of Notre Dame senior Marco Magnano
posted a 6-2, 6-3 win over Drew Pozatek of Pennsylvania to win the
consolation singles championship at the Princeton Invitational on Sunday.
After dropping his first match of the weekend, Magnano came back to win
four-straight matches to win the consolation round.
In other Irish singles action, NotreDame senior Ryan Simme lost in
the singles championship to Udi Kish of Penn by a 6-3, 6-3 count.

Ryan Simme Advances to Championship
PRINCETON, N.J. --- University of Notre Dame men's tennis senior Ryan
Simme will play for the singles championship of the Princeton
Invitational on Sunday. Simme, the No. 1 seed in the event, will play
Udi Kish of Penn in the final match after winning four matches over the
course of Friday and Saturday to advance to the finals. Notre Dame's Dan
Rothschild lost in the semifinals of the event on Saturday.
Irish senior Marco Magnano will play in the consolation single final on
Sunday while Simme and Rothschild will play in the doubles semifinals.
