TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Notre Dame men's tennis team won all six singles matches and two of three doubles against South Florida on Saturday at the Indiana State Invitational. Junior Casey Smith edged Max Dockhorn 6-2, 3-6, 1-0 (11-9), while junior Andrew Laflin also won in three sets, defeating Jorge Escallon 6-3, 0-6, 1-0 (10-6). Freshman Luis Haddock-Morales beat Aleks Popovic 6-1, 7-6 to improve to 9-1 on the season.
Other straight-sets singles winners included freshman Matt Scott and sophomores Brian Farrell and Bryan Acken. In doubles, Haddock-Morales and Smith defeated Dockhorn and Abhijit Shah 8-5, while junior James Malhame and Scott won 8-3 over Escallon and Eden Kleiman.
