WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Irish men's tennis team has dominated singles action through two days of play at the Tribe Invitational, which is being hosted by the College of William & Mary. In the two days of play thus far, the Irish have posted a 16-2 mark in singles play versus opponents from William & Mary, Maryland and the College of Charleston.
The Irish have also posted a 5-4 mark in doubles play at the event, which is taking place at the McCormack-Nagelsen Tennis Center on the William & Mary campus.
On day one, juniors Daniel Stahl (Bethesda, Md.) and David Anderson (Sandwich, Mass.), as well as sophomores Niall Fitzgerald (Wicklow, Ireland) and Sam Keeton (Kansas City, Mo.) as well as freshmen Blas Moros (Boca Raton, Fla.), Michael Moore (Glenview, Ill.) all posted 2-0 marks in singles play. Stahl, Anderson, Fitzgerald and Moros followed with singles wins on day two to push their records at the event to 3-0.

Notre Dame wraps up its fall season tomorrow, Nov. 8 when the Tribe Invitational comes to a close. The Irish open the 2010 dual season on Jan. 22 when they play host to William & Mary at 5:00 p.m. in the Eck Tennis Pavilion.
