Michael Bathon joined the Monogram Club Board of Directors in 2012 to serve a three-year term ending in 2015.

Bathon currently serves as Vice President of Solutions Management for Convergys Corporation. In this capacity, he oversees all systems development and support for Convergys' 70,000+ employees.

Prior to his work with Convergys, Bathon was a Vice President at both Sprint and Nextel Communications and before that, worked as a leader and consultant at EDS.

Before heading to the corporate world, he served as an adjunct instructor at Florida Institute of Technology and taught courses within the business program.

Bathon was a member of the 1986 Notre Dame National Championship men's fencing team. He credits his success to his two great coaches, Coach Mike DeCicco and Coach Rich Daly, and his personnel development was guided by the two outstanding captains of the Sabre team, Mike Janis and Tony Consoli.

After graduating from Notre Dame in 1986 with a degree in English, Bathon earned a MBA from the Florida Institute of Technology School of Business.

Michael and his wife, Sue, live in Cincinnati, Ohio, and have two children: Mary and Mark. Their children attend Summit Country Day School and his family belongs to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. When he is not attending the many soccer and lacrosse games in support of his children, Bathon enjoys the outdoors as a hiker and hunter and is struggling to become a competitive shooter. He is also the proud brother of Liz Bathon Brown ('80) and brother-in-law of Liz's husband, Stephen Brown ('80).
