With a coaching change in 1985, Galloway saw an opportunity as he entered his senior year. Early morning workouts were implemented by Coach Holtz and Galloway was determined to make an impression. At the Spring Game, he was awarded the teams Most Enthusiastic Player award and was subsequently awarded a full scholarship over the summer. He then went on and played on special teams in every game his senior year.
After graduating with a BBA in Accounting, Galloway worked for five years at Price Waterhouse in Baltimore, and for three years at T. Rowe Price.
Galloway, who earned a Masters in Financial Management from Johns Hopkins University, is currently a Managing Director at Stifel Nicolaus & Co. selling equity securities. Prior to Stifel Nicolaus, Tom was a Managing Director at Wachovia Securities and Alex. Brown in Baltimore, Maryland.
Galloway has been a very active member of the Notre Dame Club of Maryland since graduation, serving in various capacities. In running the annual Summer Service Projects for the Club for the last 15 years, Galloway has raised over $30,000 for the Club.
Galloway, the youngest of seven children and the only one to go to Notre Dame, has three children Ben, Brendan and Kacie. He has been married to his highschool sweetheart, Colleen Murphy, for 20 years.
