Jessica Roman joins the Monogram Club Board of Directors in 2014 to serve a three-year term ending in 2017.
Roman has taught high school mathematics for over 20 years, from 1992-1995 at University Liggett School, and at Grosse Pointe North High School since 1995.
In 2001, she founded WILLOW (Women In Leadership Leading Our World), a mentoring and leadership program for girls at Grosse Pointe North that remains a strong influence on developing leadership capacities in teenage girls. She has been actively involved with the Notre Dame Women Connect Group, and represented Notre Dame at the annual college fair for Grosse Pointe Schools for thirteen years.
Roman was valedictorian of her high school, and graduated magna cum laude from Notre Dame in 1992 with a degree in honors mathematics. She was a three-year member and senior captain of the Notre Dame cheerleading squad, and organized and executed program reunions in 2001, 2006, 2010, and 2014. She has a master's degree in instructional technology.
Jessica and her husband, Joe, have three children: Rocco (born 2005), Xavier (born 2008), and Ravella (born 2012), and live in Clinton Township, Mich.
