Kevin McShane played for head coach Lou Holtz from 1986 through the 1989 season, is a member of the 1988 National Championship team, an active member of the Monogram Club since 1989 and a 1990 graduate of the University of Notre Dame. The senior football class of 1990 left the University with a 37-11 record and three straight January 1st bowl games; Cotton Bowl, Fiesta Bowl and the Orange Bowl. Kevin serves as Chair of the Membership Committee dedicated to serving the seven thousand plus members who have earned the University's athletic insignia. The Membership Committee designs and executes new member on-boarding programs, member retention strategy and drives member engagement.
Kevin is a 23-year Sales and General Management executive in the enterprise marketing management software and the web optimization industry. He has expertise in business transformation, including start-ups, new business revenue streams, turnarounds and metrics based performance improvement. He provides strategic leadership of people, process and enabling technology that results in the profitable acquisition of new customers, client retention and customer profitability. He has a track record of leadership experience ranging from entrepreneurial start-up businesses to leading cross-functional organizations at the business unit level for Fortune 1000 companies. Twice in his career he led start-up organizations to successful acquisitions and consistency delivers double digit growth at the line of business level.
Currently, Kevin is Vice President, Marketing Optimization at HP Software. HP Software is the category leader in meaning based marketing; providing insight, recommendation and automation for the modern marketer. Kevin received a Master of Business Administration from J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 2006. He received a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 1990. Kevin and his wife Kate were married at Old St. Patrick's Church in Chicago and have four children; Jack, Nora, Peter and Kevin. They reside in Chicago and belong to Christ The King Catholic Parish. Kevin is church lector and serves on various parish committees and boards.
