Scott Paddock is the Director of Sports Marketing for the Gatorade Company, a division of PepsiCo Inc. Scott oversees a staff of thirteen and is responsible for the management of the brand's sports marketing sponsorship portfolio, including all league, team and spokesperson relations and negotiations. In this role, Scott is charged with ensuring that the brand's sponsorship rights and assets are fully leveraged against the creation and execution of programming that drives maximum return on investment.

Scott joined the Gatorade business in 1998 as a Sports Marketing Manager, overseeing the Southeast region of the U.S. In 2001, he was named Senior Manager of Sports Marketing and added day to day oversight of the brand's NFL and Motor Sports partnerships to his list of responsibilities. Under his leadership, Gatorade re-engineered their motor sports strategy with a new focus against a driver, team and track platform. Scott was the architect behind Gatorade's partnership with International Speedway Corporation in 2002, the largest in ISC's history at that time, and the historic creation of the "Gatorade Victory Lane" entitlement.

Scott began his career in the sports marketing industry with Sports Partners, a sports marketing and advertising agency and division of Italia & Associates in 1995. Prior to his tenure with Sports Partners, Scott embarked on a five-year professional basketball career, which included stops in France, Turkey, Switzerland and the U.S. He represented the United States as a starter on the U.S. National Team that earned the silver medal in the 1995 Pan-American Games in Argentina.

Scott received his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1990. He has served on a number of boards and committees, including membership on USA Basketball's Board of Directors, USA Basketball's Executive Committee, the Athlete Advisory Council (AAC) to the United States Olympic Committee, the Chicago 2016 Olympic Committee, and as an Advisory Board member of Chicago based Seat Exchange. He was named a member of the Sports Business Journal's prestigious Forty Under Forty class for 2008. Scott and his wife, Marcy, reside in Orland Park, IL, and have two daughters, Jordan and Juliana.
