Former Notre Dame football player Michael Richerson ('85) began his three-year term on the Monogram board of directors in June 2007. Richerson was a member of the incoming football class of 1981 (which included future All-Americans Mark Bavaro, Mike Golic and Larry Williams); and played as a reserve member of an Irish receiving corps in the early '80's that included fellow Class of '85 receivers Joe Howard-Johnson and Van Pearcy, as well as future Heisman Trophy winner Tim Brown.

After graduating with honors from Notre Dame ('85) with a degree from the Program of Liberal Studies, Richerson began his business career with The Prudential Insurance Company at their Newark NJ headquarters and in Boston, MA. He then received a Rotary International Graduate Scholarship; and attended the United Kingdom's Durham University and the London School of Economics. He received his M.A. in Political Economy from Durham in 1990 and continued his business career working for Hewitt Associates and then EDS in a variety of sales and marketing positions in the HR and IT outsourcing industries. Currently Richerson is the Vice President of Sales for Aon Corporation, working in their Human Capital, Consulting and Benefits Outsourcing division. He's based in Atlanta Georgia and is responsible for the division's sales and marketing results in the Southeast Region.

Richerson has served in a variety of formal and informal capacities with local Notre Dame Alumni Clubs (from hosting Young Alum Socials in Boston in the 80's, to participating the Tax Assistance Program in Dallas in the 90's, to organizing and hosting The Notre Dame Club of The Netherlands first ever Gamewatch and Tailgater party last year). He also served as club vice-president in The Netherlands.

Richerson was born into a sporting family in Kirksville Missouri where he was an All-State performer in football and track. The son of a long-time football coach (his father was an assistant coach at the universities of Utah, Northeast Missouri and Wisconsin); his 4 brothers and one sister played a variety of varsity sports throughout high school and college. One brother, Tom, started at strong safety at Harvard where he played for Coach Joe Restic, Sr. (the father of the Monogram Clubs' current vice-president, Joe Restic Jr). Another brother, Jim, is currently the Director of Golf Operations for the Kohler Company and manages the famous Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run courses in Kohler Wisconsin.

Richerson and his wife, the former Susie Anderson, were married at St. Michael's Church in Chicago IL in 1998. The couple has three children together.
